Summer '08

Today is the last day of summer...I had to update this before a new season starts! We had a very exciting summer, with a new addition to the family topping it off! Lyla is so sweet...there will be lots of pictures of her soon.
Today, Riley had some fun with the hose and dad's skateboards-he did his first "trick".

Tonight before bed I looked over at Riley and he was giving his Elmo and Cookie Monster some of his milk. It was so sweet....

Summer '08-Lyla Rae is Born

So while we were drinking some wine on Balboa, Michelle and Aaron were in the hospital, welcoming precious Lyla Rae. It was pretty much a race to see who could pack up fastest....

Summer '08-Balboa

Dad and Mom rented a house on Balboa Island. We got to hang out with Aunt Holly and Tiffany, Cori, Gregg and Brody and Michelle and Aaron...and eat ice cream, ride rides and swim in the ocean, summer is the best!





The pier was an adventure for Riley and Brody...and for Papa when he braved it and took them on the ferris wheel!




Phew, they made it!



Don't even think of taking our ice cream cones.




Gregg drove us around the harbor for Brody's real birthday.
Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Michelle was at home going into labor!!
