Summer '08-Natural History Museum

I remember thinking the Natural History Museum was really weird when I took my second graders there a few years ago, but Cori and I took Riley and Brody and now I know what age group it's meant for! They couldn't get enough.

They had a live butterfly exhibit that was really pretty cool, hundreds of butterflies just flying around.

Summer '08-Yakima

Cassie and Bryan had an engagement party...Sue bbq'd 100 pounds of ribs!! It was so much fun the camera got forgotten about early...but here are a few pix.

Summer '08-Roadtrip!

We took our first real roadtrip, Idaho to Washington. It was the first roadtrip where there were more park breaks then bathroom breaks.

Park stop number 1...time to run

Park stop number 2...the big dog is actually a Bed & Breakfast

Park stop number 3...Riley is winding down but the driver is still in a good mood, lucky for us

Summer '08-Idaho

To start off the summer we all headed up to Idaho to hang out in nature. Riley got his first fishing pole, although he didn't catch any fish!

Father's Day at the Observatory

The Observatory was one of the first places Aaron and I went when he moved here. It was fun to go back and Riley had a good time running around and imitating dad.

Papa and Bebe go to the Zoo

Riley loves the zoo...he especially likes to wash his hands in the big sink.

Cooper and Croquet...no better way to spend a Sunday

We went over to hang out with Tracy, Caleb and baby Cooper. Riley enjoyed the backyard and the croquet. Cooper enjoyed watching what he'll be like soon and napping in mama's arms....those were the days!
